Another way to open a group is to right-click an empty area in the groups and levels column.

This helps you track how recently a word was used before repeating it, so that the player doesn’t feel like they’re seeing the same words on every level.
We recommend reusing short words a few times. They often serve as connectors and also make great hints, helping ensure the level doesn’t feel too difficult for the player.

3 Block: Main Workspace

Letter
A set of letters that will make up the crossword.
You can enter them manually or use the Generate button to create a random word.
These letters form the game palette and the list of available words that can be made from them.
Number
Set the desired number of letters and use the Generate button to create a random word.
Generate
This button allows you to generate a word with the specified number of letters.
Grid Size
Adjust the grid size. You can do this both before creating the crossword and while working with the words.
Test Level
Use this button to test your level
Hard Level
Check the box if you want to warn the player that the level is difficult.
The player will see this warning as a Hard label on the Play button.
Timer
Check the box if you want to make the level timed. Set the desired number of seconds.
Timed tasks appear only in level 7 as a DEMO. You can set timed levels yourself using the editor, but not all players like the rush.
Background
The level background is inherited from the group by default, but you can set unique backgrounds for individual levels.
This lets you show more themed images, while the final image (shown with the fun fact after all levels are completed) remains the one set for the group.
Color Tile
The tile color (when a word is revealed) is inherited from the group by default, but you can set a unique color for individual levels. Read the Guide
Red Gem
Click the red gem icon, then click the desired spot in the crossword to place it.
Right-click it in the crossword to remove it from the grid.
The red gem unlocks a bonus reward.
Letters Palette
Use this if you want to add words manually.
Left-click a letter on the palette, then left-click on the grid to place it where you want. Repeat to form a word.
Right-click a letter to remove it from the grid.
Grid
Workspace for creating the crossword.
Arrows
The arrows let you move the crossword around the grid.
This is useful if you need more space to place a word.
It's a technical tool for convenience and doesn't affect the crossword's position in the actual game.
Clear Button
Delete all words from the workspace.
Refresh Button
Refresh to find a more appealing letter arrangement.
If needed, you can fine-tune it manually afterward.
Apply Button
Use the Apply button when you're done working in the workspace to confirm all
changes and add the manually placed words to the list of used words.
Update 1.07

Added: generate random letters / word for crossword If the function is enabled, random letters will be generated. If it is disabled, a word will be generated.

4 Block. Word search tool
This tool helps you find the right words from the list of bonus words.

Clear
Delete all letters.
Left mouse button
Place a letter.
Right mouse button
Delete a letter.
For example, if you need the first letter to be N and the fourth E to connect two words, just place these letters in the corresponding cells (N in cell 1, E in cell 4), and the assistant will suggest all words from the level’s dictionary that match the given criteria.

You’ll see a list of suggested words. If a word is marked with an asterisk (*), it means it’s already used in the current crossword. Use available words instead—for this example, that word is NICE.
Just select the letters from the palette and place them in the desired positions.

This word will appear in the word list for the current level.
Another option is if you don’t need to connect two words, but just want to give the player a hint. For example, the word NINE intersects in the crossword at only one letter. You can create an additional hint as a short word.

Add an intersection at the letter I by specifying in the word search that I should be the second letter in the word.

Let’s choose a short available word with I as the second letter—for example, FIN. Then, manually using the palette, place the letters F and N next to the I in the crossword.

5 Block. Available words.
A list of words that includes all words from the dictionary made up of the available set of letters.

1
Add Word Manually
Enter a word that is not in the dictionary into this field and click Add.
It will immediately appear in the general list (if it meets the level's criteria), or it will be added to the dictionary and suggested on any level where the letter set allows it.
2
Available Words
Number of available words.
3
Yellow Warning
Indicates that you’ve already used this word on other levels. Hovering over it will show you exactly which levels it appears in.
4
Asterisk (*)
If a word is marked with an asterisk (*), it means it’s already used in the current crossword.
5
Add to Level button
Adds the selected word to the list of words used in the current level.
6
Ban
Sends the word to the banned words list. It will no longer appear in the available words until you remove it from the banned list.
You can find this list in the header of Block 2.
